Review your suggestions. Choose which introductions to accept and explore your personalised itinerary. Samantha introduces you by email when both people agree.

One account per person. Each account is linked to a single email address and a single WhatsApp number, so please register each attendee separately. You cannot sign up on someone else’s behalf here.

What can Samantha help me with?

Your personal AI networking agent Samantha helps you find relevant people at Hong Kong FinTech Week x StartmeupHK 2026 and build a personalised itinerary of sessions and community events. Samantha can also recommend booths and roundtables, answer practical questions and send daily email summaries of discussions relevant to your interests.

How do I get started?

Do I need to download anything?

No additional download is needed. You can use WhatsApp or the web app. Follow the instructions in your activation email.

How long does the call take?

The call with Samantha takes about 10 minutes. You can speak English or Mandarin.

Why have a call after completing registration?

Your registration provides background. The call helps Samantha understand details that make a match useful, such as the kind of customer you want or the project you need help with. The conversation also helps personalise session and community event recommendations.

What should I say?

Explain what you’re working on, what you need and what you can offer others. For example, “We help banks detect payment fraud and want to find a partner for a pilot” gives Samantha more to work with than “I want to network.”

Can I use one account for more than one person, or register a colleague?

No. Each account is linked to one person, one email address and one WhatsApp number. If you are booking for colleagues, register each of them separately so every attendee gets their own introductions and their own itinerary.

How do introductions work?

Samantha suggests people and explains why you might want to meet. You choose which introductions to accept. When both people agree, Samantha introduces you by email.

Are my contact details shared automatically?

No. Your WhatsApp number and phone number are never shared with anyone, at any point. When you and the other person both accept an introduction, Samantha AI introduces you by email, and your email address is the only detail shared. If you decline, nothing is shared.

How is my data used and protected?

You control what you share. The information you give Samantha AI is used only to arrange your experience at Hong Kong FinTech Week x StartmeupHK 2026: your introductions, your personalised itinerary and your questions during the week.

Your WhatsApp number is never shared with other attendees, sponsors or exhibitors, and an introduction only goes ahead once both people accept it. Every match is reviewed by our team before it reaches you.

Can Samantha guarantee a meeting with a particular person?

No. The person needs to be participating in the service and agree to the introduction. Being listed as an attendee or speaker does not guarantee availability for a meeting.

What is a personalised itinerary?

It is a plan of sessions and community events based on your interests and goals. For example, if you’re exploring AI for fraud prevention, Samantha can help you find relevant talks and gatherings where you could continue the conversation.

Does an itinerary recommendation reserve a place?

No. Some community events require a separate registration, ticket or invitation. Check the entry details for each event you want to attend.

Can Samantha answer practical questions during the event?

Yes. Samantha is available 24/7 to help with questions such as finding the venue, locating your ticket or checking lunch times.

Can I catch up on discussions I missed?

Yes. Samantha sends email summary of discussions relevant to your interests.

Someone else registered me. What should I do?

Ask them to pass on the getting-started instructions associated with your attendee registration. Have the conversation yourself so Samantha understands your own interests and goals.

I can’t find my getting-started email. What should I do?

Check your spam or junk folder. If someone registered on your behalf, check with them too. If you still need help, email the event team at fintechweek@finoverse.com.
